Female side: his wife Anne, widowed Wihstuz, 43; her daughter Leene Wihstuz, 18. On the manor-people page (frame 220, fol. 207) under the same family no. 15: Jahn Sillak, son of Jahn, from no. XXIX, 20 (b. c. 1830), Mārcis's younger brother. Anne's first husband, farmer Peter Wihstuz son of Jacob, died 1843 (frame 236, family 58), so she married Mārcis between 1843 and 1847. NB the existing 1858 item gives Dahw Wihstuz '6 → 14'; in 1850 Dahw Wihstuz is 9 (the '6' belongs to the next family's Dahw Bahlicht), so in 1858 he should be c. 17 — that transcription should be rechecked.

    1858 revision list (10th revision), family no. 95 (9th revision no. 15). Marz Sillakk, son of Jahn: aged 28 at the 1850 revision, 36 now (so b. c. 1821/22). His stepson[?] Dahw Wihstuz: 6 → 14. Son Peter Sillakk: 2 → 10. Female side: 'his wife Anne, widowed Wihstuz', 51 (so b. c. 1806/07). So Anne was the widow of a Wihstuz (the farm's earlier family) and Dahw Wihstuz is Peter's older half-brother. Gives Pēteris's grandfather's name, Jānis (Jahn), and the patronymic of Mārcis.
